Volunteer Coaching Staff
Coaching Staff Requirements
All Coaching staff fall under the direction of the Director of Coaching to ensure the highest level of coaching for our players. We rely on a combination of parent coaches and experienced football coaching staff to build the program. Many of our experienced coaches are alumni and we welcome recent alumni to come back and work with us in some capacity. All Coaches must be trained to Football Alberta and CDMFA standards for minor football. The CDMFA Policy - Coaching Standards & Requirements can be found here.
If you are interested in a Coaching position with Mustangs football, please review the following requirements. If you feel you can meet these requirements, please click the application link at the bottom of the page to express you interest.
1. National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) Registration
All coaching staff must have a National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) number. If you do not have an NCCP number, you can get one by signing up at the www.thelocker.coach.ca.
2. Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
All coaching staff must complete a Police Information Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search (PIC VS). This can be done through Edmonton Police Services EPS Police Solutions online application system.
